June

I have already shared our most excited June news. But besides having a baby, we had a few other exciting events as well.

Daniel finished Kindergarten the first week of June. He had so much fun his last week of school, getting to eat school lunch, having field day, and receiving the "Eagle" award. We're so proud of Daniel. He learned so much this year and proved to be an excellent student and classmate. He will miss his class, as he'll be attending a new school next year.

Mary's preschool continued until the end of June. She got to have a preschool picnic, a graduation program, and a water day. She loved her preschool teacher and classmates and will really miss them. She looks forward to starting Kindergarten and attending the same school as Daniel.

Scott's parents came to meet Peter on the day he was born. And because they had a reunion at the end of the month, they stayed with us for 2 weeks. It was wonderful! They entertained the kids, prepared all the meals and kept up on the laundry and cleaning. It was so nice for me to be able to rest and focus on Peter for that time. My first day alone without them was overwhelming, but we're all adjusting and getting used to life with a newborn.

Luckily, he is the sweetest baby. He sleeps more and cries less than any of our others, for which we are truly grateful.
