I went to John Carter today. I had pretty low expectations, but ended up really enjoying the movie. It's not wonderful or life changing, just fun to watch. I recommend it.
I've been interested in this since seeing one viewer's article saying it would be our children's Star Wars. However, several others have claimed it was disappointing. Sounds like the key to enjoying this movie is low expectations.
