October seemed to zoom past. The kids were off-track for the first 2 weeks, and then had Fall Break at the end of the 3rd week, so we were able to do some fun Fall things, like hunt for witches at Gardner Village, and go to the Thanksgiving Point Farm with Grandma and Grandpa. Since Scott works from home, we've gotten in a habit of going for a good walk every afternoon right after lunch. When the kids were off-track, we brought then all along, but they did not like it. This day we walked around the temple, and it was raining, and Mary could not hide how upset it all made her.

Scott's parents were here for parts of 2 weeks at the end of October.
They helped us do some big projects, like disconnect and disassemble
the little kitchenette that's been in the way downstairs, and replace
all our off-white outlets and light switch in the living room with white
ones, a project we've wanted to get to since we redid the room 2 years
ago. We also got rid of one of our sheds in the backyard in preparation
for building a fort. And Scott did lots of work on our ceiling (Yes, the
one that leaked back on Memorial Day weekend.) We're getting closer and
hope to have it done and all back together by the 6 month mark.:)
And,
of course, we celebrated Halloween. Daniel was a Jedi, Mary was Little
Red Riding Hood, Anna was Rapunzel, and Peter was a dinosaur. It was a
fun day!

| Daniel and I wear the same size shoe right now, so he wore my boots, but not to school. That would have been way too embarrassing. |

Thanks for the update and pictures - nice pumpkin carving!
