July

Our July was pretty low key, as we adjusted to Peter being here, and tried to keep up on our sleep. Here are a few fun things we did.

On the 4th of July, we went to Megan and Weston's for a BBQ and fireworks. It was great to see Cheryl and Blake, Dave and Belky, Linda and Roger, and, of course, Megan and Weston.

Anna did not like the loud fireworks.

 

On the 24th of July, Scott's work had their annual summer party. The kids had been looking forward to it since last year's party. Anna LOVED swimming in the little pool, and Mary and Daniel were pretty excited about the face (or arm) painting and balloons.

  

The following Saturday, our ward had a breakfast and Primary Parade. Scott's parents had stayed the night with us on there way to southern Utah, and joined us at the breakfast.
 

Daniel had his first day of first grade on July 29. It's a big adjustment for us all to have him at school all day, but we're looking forward to a great year.
